DESCRIPTION:Gichi-ayayaag Maawanji’idiwag \nElders Gathering \n(Formerly known as Elder Advisory Committee) \nGichi-ayayaag Maawanji’idiwag is comprised of area residents 50 years and older. \nWe are a social organization that raises money and plans activities for the elders in Grand Portage and Hovland.  Trips we have taken include Washington\, DC\, Black Hills and Madeline Island.  We have a committee working on ideas for our next trip and would love to have you participate!  Each year we host a Christmas Banquet\, Fall Color ride and lunch\, berry picking in Canada and other fun activities.  Come and see what we are about!! \nOur meetings are the 1st Monday of every month at the ENP starting at 5 pm. \nA light supper is always served. \nFor information call Agatha @ 218-475-2802

One ticket per person and MUST have fished in the Pigeon River Derby. \nFish measured at landing before 3:00 p.m. \n*There are special walleye fishing regulations in place. Only two walleye may be kept between 15-19″. Other walleye must be released. Please photograph fish against a ruler for entry into contest. Practice catch and release when possible.
